For experienced business owners or senior managers who will start or buy a business in Manitoba. Candidates enter an EOI, are invited, run the business under a performance agreement, and are then nominated. The Entrepreneur Pathway requires a $500,000 net worth and an investment of $150,000 outside or $250,000 inside the Winnipeg Metropolitan Region.

How candidates are selected

Expression of Interest ranked by points (ranking points favour ages 25-49 and at least 33 1/3% ownership); invitation, then business establishment under agreement, then nomination.

Location requirement: must establish or buy a business in Manitoba

Processing: Multi-stage: EOI, business establishment and performance period, nomination, then IRCC PR processing (11 months standard for non-Express Entry PNP, excluding provincial time).
