Closed BC's 2026-04-23 news says the Entry Level and Semi Skilled stream is officially closed. Its last invitation round was in December 2024 (announced 2024-12-09 for the last 2024 draws); it was inactive through 2025.

Former BC stream for workers in tourism and hospitality, food processing and similar entry-level jobs (including long-haul trucking in earlier years) with a BC job offer. It no longer accepts applicants and has no direct replacement.

Processing: Not applicable: the stream is closed. Any pending files were nominated earlier; IRCC's PR stage standard is 180 days (Express Entry) or 11 months (paper).
