Programme de l'experience quebecoise - Quebec Graduates stream
Fast-track Quebec selection route for people who graduated from a Quebec institution in an eligible full-time program. It needs oral French 7 and written French 5. During the 2026 intake window the diploma must already have been held on 2025-11-19.
Who it suits
- International graduates of Quebec schools with a bachelor, master, doctorate, technical college diploma (DEC) or a 1,800-hour vocational diploma (DEP)
- People who can show oral French level 7 and written level 5 and who are legally in Quebec
Requirements
- WindowApplications are received in Arrima from 2026-07-02 08:30 (Montreal time) to 2026-10-31. The diploma must have been obtained in Quebec and held on 2025-11-19. No cap on the number of applications during the window. ↗ quebec.ca
- LanguageOral French level 7 and written level 5 on the Quebec scale. Spouse who accompanies: oral level 4. The earlier rule requiring the program to be taught in French was removed for the 2026 reopening. ↗ quebec.ca
- EducationDiploma obtained in the 36 months before applying, from a full-time program at a Quebec institution: bachelor, master/MBA, doctorate, technical DEC, DEP of 1,800 hours or more, or DEP plus ASP of 1,800 hours or more. ↗ quebec.ca
- ResidenceLegally in Quebec when applying, stayed in Quebec mainly to study for at least half the program, and (per the ministry notice) must stay in Quebec during processing with a valid permit. ↗ quebec.ca
- GeneralAge 18 or older, intention to settle in Quebec for a job (not with a business you control), and a commitment to support yourself for three months after PR. ↗ quebec.ca
How candidates are selected
Not a points system or invitation draw: eligible people submit a selection application during the intake window and are assessed against the conditions; an interview may be required.
Location requirement: must have studied in Quebec and stay in Quebec during processing
Processing: Quebec publishes no fixed processing time for the CSQ step on the pages checked; the ministry dropped its six-month commitment for PEQ files received during the 2026 intake. After the CSQ, a federal PR application follows.
