Quebec immigration: provincial nominee streams
As of 2026-10-01: the PEQ (both streams) was ended on 2025-11-19 and then reopened for two years (2026-07-02 to 2028-07-02), but applications are only received from 2026-07-02 to 2026-10-31 and only from people who already met the diploma/work criteria on 2025-11-19. The Skilled Worker Selection Program (PSTQ) has four streams and invites candidates through Arrima roughly monthly; the latest round was 2026-09-24 (86 / 316 / 110 / 7 invitations in Streams 1 / 2 / 3 / 4). The ministry said monthly PSTQ rounds continue while the PEQ intake runs, aimed largely at people who cannot use the PEQ (for example TEER 4-5 occupations). French is a hard gate in every stream except Stream 4.
