PEI PNP Labour Impact Category (Skilled Worker and related workforce streams)
PEI's Labour Impact Category is the non-Express-Entry route for workers with a PEI job offer. Its Jan 2026 guide lists Skilled Worker (TEER 0-3), Critical Worker (TEER 4-5), International Graduate, Intermediate Experience (TEER 4) and Occupations in Demand streams. This file records the Skilled Worker stream, which can also be used to recruit people outside Canada if the employer gets prior approval.
Who it suits
- Skilled workers (TEER 0-3) with a full-time PEI job offer and a 2-year post-secondary credential
- Workers already employed by a PEI employer, or recruited from abroad with employer pre-approval from the Office of Immigration
Requirements
- Job offerFull-time, non-seasonal PEI job offer (permanent or at least 2 years) in TEER 0, 1, 2 or 3; seasonal, part-time, commission-only, self-employment and home-based jobs are excluded. ↗ princeedwardisland.ca

- EducationCompleted post-secondary degree or diploma of at least a 2-year program. ↗ princeedwardisland.ca
- LanguageCLB/NCLC 4 on an approved test taken within 2 years, or employer confirmation on the job offer form. ↗ princeedwardisland.ca

- FeeEOI profile is free and valid 6 months; non-refundable $300 CAD fee if invited to apply. ↗ princeedwardisland.ca
How candidates are selected
Points-based EOI (maximum 100 points: age, language, education, work experience, employment, adaptability). PEI prioritises health care, trades, childcare, manufacturing and other shortage sectors. No minimum score is published.
Location requirement: Job offer from a PEI employer; can be recruited from outside Canada with prior employer authorization.
