For entrepreneurs who will invest in and run a business in the NWT. Net worth and investment thresholds are lower outside Yellowknife. Applicants first operate under a Business Performance Agreement.
Who it suits
- Experienced business owners ready to invest $100,000-$200,000+ equity and settle in the NWT
Requirements
- Net worthPersonal net worth of at least $500,000 CAD for a Yellowknife business or $250,000 CAD elsewhere in the NWT. ↗ immigratenwt.ca
- InvestmentEquity investment of at least $200,000 CAD in Yellowknife or $100,000 CAD outside it. ↗ immigratenwt.ca
- OwnershipOwn at least 33.3% of the business; this is waived if your personal investment is $1,000,000 or more. ↗ immigratenwt.ca
