International Skilled Worker (SINP category)
Saskatchewan's main skilled-worker category for people outside the province or in Canada. Seven options sit under it: Employment Offer, Health Talent, Agriculture Talent, Innovation and Tech Talent, Saskatchewan Express Entry, Occupations In-Demand and an International Healthcare Worker EOI pool. Since the federal allocation was cut in 2025, a Saskatchewan job offer is the practical route.
Who it suits
- Skilled workers (TEER 0-3) with a permanent full-time Saskatchewan job offer approved through an Employer Position Assessment
- Health, agriculture and tech workers using the talent pathways
- Not currently practical for candidates with no Saskatchewan job offer

How candidates are selected
Employer-driven sub-categories: employer gets an Employer Position Assessment, then the worker applies directly. EOI sub-categories (Express Entry, Occupations In-Demand): scored EOI pool with periodic draws, none currently scheduled.
Location requirement: Saskatchewan employer for most sub-categories; EOI sub-categories formally need none but see status note.
Processing: SINP reported 2 weeks for Employment Offer, Innovation and Tech Talent, Agriculture Talent and Health Talent applications in Q2 2026 (Apr 1-Jun 30), middle 80% of finalized files; its stated goal is 16 weeks for complete applications. Federal allocation for 2026 is 4,761 SINP nominations (down from 2025); 2,628 had been issued year to date in the Q2 2026 statistics (55%).
