Newfoundland and Labrador immigration: provincial nominee streams

All economic applications go through the Expression of Interest model (launched 2025-02-19). Invitations to apply are issued in batches roughly every one to three weeks through September 2026. No score cutoff is disclosed.

How the province selects

EOI pool valid 12 months; the Office of Immigration and Multiculturalism invites candidates in batches using priority criteria (occupation, education, intention to reside in the province); no score published.

• EOIs expire automatically after 12 months; a new EOI must then be submitted.
• Invited applicants have 30 days to submit a complete application (a period temporarily shortened to speed up processing this year).
• The update list counts NLPNP and Atlantic Immigration Program invitations separately; only NLPNP numbers are shown here.
• Express Entry Skilled Worker requires a full-time TEER 0-3 job offer of at least one year, a language test, and at least 67 points on the NLPNP grid.
• The province audited the NLPNP and published the final report on 2026-01-26.
