What the work involves
Main duties
- Prepare lessons following an approved curriculum
- Teach with lectures, discussions, labs, shop work and other methods
- Assign, mark and report on homework and tests
- Evaluate student progress and talk to parents and school staff
- Plan remedial programs for students needing extra help
- May teach online, advise students and supervise student teachers
